About

Classy Cuts & Styles was originally opened in 2000 by Geri Tipps.  Geri was soon joined by associates she had worked with previously.  When I became part of the team in January 2003, I found the salon to have a warm and friendly atmosphere created by the real passion Geri and her staff had for each other and the clients they served.

When Geri decided to sell Classy Cuts & Styles due to family health issues, I knew without hesitation that I wanted to buy the salon, and in April 2007, I became the new owner.

I have made a few changes, such as the color on the walls, etc ... But what I plan to keep is the warmth and charm of a passionate salon for the people who work for me and our clientele.

When Debby came to Classy Cuts & Styles in 2003, she brought with her the years of experience and training she gained while working in the JCPenney Salon.  As a Certified Master Colorist, she trained other stylists on proper foiling techniques. 


 

Owning her own salon had been Debby's life long dream, however it also brought some personal challenges ... her mother who provided much needed help and support during Deborah's transition from staff member to owner, passed in May 2007.  Debby is thankful that her mother was able to share in the joy of seeing her achieve her dream.

 
Liz Pettit - stylist

Christ is first in all things!  He blessed me with the gift of hair.  I love to cut, color, and style hair.  I do hair extensions on all hair types.  I'm honest and will do my best to give you quality work.  I want you to feel welcomed and comfortable with what I will create for you.
Leslie Meza - stylist

Leslie, a 28 year old military brat, grew up in Copperas Cove, Texas.  Later, she moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, where she acquired her Cosmetology License.

Her specialties are razor cutting and working with curly hair.  Leslie looks forward to working with you and assisting with all your general family hair care needs.

Classy Cuts opens in Cove

In a town with numerous hairstylists, Classy Cuts at 2127 E. Highway 190, Suite B, would like to offer hairstyling services at a "cut above" the rest.

Deborah Howard, owner of Classy Cuts, said her customers think they are on the cutting edge of the industry. "I think we're innovative and diverse," said Howard. " While some folks like the classic style of haircuts, we keep up with what's new and fresh as well."

Howard employs two full-time hairstylists to keep up with the flow of customers.

Paige Logan has been a Classy Cuts stylist since Feb. and is a Copperas Cove native.

"I've noticed with our salon that we attract a group of older clientele," said Logan.  "We offer a lot of different services, but I think what makes us stand apart is our attention to our customers.  We develop relationships with them and really do spend quality time with them. We make a point to get to know them. In Classy Cuts our customers are not just numbers, they're our friends as well."

Leslie Meza, the other full-time stylist, agrees with Logan. "We offer a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere," said Meza. "I think there is a big difference in the way we treat our customers. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't be here."

Classy Cuts is not only a full service hair salon, but they also provide facial waxing starting at $10. Haircuts start at $18, which includes a shampoo.
